Frank Sinatra School
of the Arts

ETA's flagship Partner School is Frank Sinatra School of the Arts.

Founded in 1999 by Tony and Susan in partnership with the NYC Department of Education, FSSA is a public high school located in Tony's childhood neighborhood at the Kaufman Astoria Studios Complex in Queens.

Students from across the city audition for admission and major in Dance, Drama, Film, Fine Art, Vocal or Instrumental Music. FSSA also offers a rigorous academic curriculum and holds one of the highest graduation and college enrollment rates for NYC public schools.

ETA led a capital campaign to help support the construction of a new building for the school, which opened in 2009. Its state of the art facilities include an 800-seat concert hall; two black box theatres; a stagecraft workshop; art gallery; rooftop performance garden; and a multi-media film and technology lab. Designed by Susan T. Rodriguez of Ennead Architects, the award-winning building also houses the NYC Department of Education's annual Summer Arts Institute, of which ETA is a proud funding partner.
